Those cabins were built by the CCC in the 1930s so … WebOur guided horseback rides depart from Blue Bell Lodge Stables and are one of the most peaceful, scenic ways to experience the park's trails. All ages are welcome, with Lil' Buckaroo rides at the stables available for the youngsters. However, to go out on the trail, children must ride alone and meet minimum safety requirements.

The employees were exceptional and were so friendly. The one star is due to the experience at the lodge. First they changed their 3:00 check in to 4:00 and didn’t tell the front desk or the patrons. WebWe had a housekeeping cabin at Blue Bell for $135. This compares to the $120 we would have spent at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Custer. Cabin was rustic but everything worked fine. 2 double beds plus a set of bunk beds, fire ring and picnic table outside. The bathroom was updated and above average.

The sleeping cabin was clean and comfortable, and really pretty roomy for a sleeping cabin.
