WebAug 1, 2009 · Friday night I was out on a date and found that the transmission was difficult to shift into any gears, and would grind going into 2nd gear with clutch fully depressed as well as Reverse. On the way home that night, I noticed that the clutch engaged pretty low to the floor, probably an inch off the floor if my left foot could measure.
